Daily Film Fix

Here's a link to an interview recently shot by Jonathan Hickman for his web/cable series Daily Film Fix.

Apologies to the makers of the film Red Moon for having their dinner crashed.

I have only recently discovered Mr. Wood's work and I must say that I haven't been this impressed with a director's work since I first discovered David Lynch. It's not very often one sees such a rare combination, such as Tolstoy's literacy, Joyce's raw truth, Kubrick's attention to detail and Del Toro's imagination. Works like Psychopathia Sexualis and The Little Death (just to name two) shine an oil lamps soft light into the darkest places of the human condition and never has this been more necessary than the times we live in today. As an author, I can only hope to be as revealing and enlightening as his brilliant work.
